Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out the rules for using any services provided by Centurion Networks LTD (“Centurion Networks”, “we”, “us”, “our”), Company Number 16781144, registered in the United Kingdom.

This AUP applies to all use of our services, including but not limited to game servers (and, in future, VPS and other hosting services), and to any person or organisation using our services (“you”, “your”, “customers”, “users”).

By using our website and services, you agree to this AUP and to our use of cookies as described in our Privacy Policy.

1. General Responsibilities

You must:

• Use our services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations of the United Kingdom and any relevant jurisdiction.
• Keep your account details secure and not share your login credentials with unauthorised persons.
• Ensure that all content and activity on your services complies with this AUP and our Terms of Service.
• Promptly notify us if you become aware of any security breach, unauthorised access or misuse of our services.

2. Prohibited Activities

You must not use our services for any of the following:

2.1 Illegal or Harmful Content

• Hosting, distributing or linking to content that is illegal under UK law, including (but not limited to):
  • Child sexual abuse material.
  • Terrorist content or support for terrorist organisations.
  • Content that incites violence, hatred, harassment or discrimination.
  • Content that is defamatory, fraudulent or deceptive.
• Hosting or distributing pirated or unlicensed software, games, media, or other copyrighted material without the necessary rights.

2.2 Network and System Abuse

• Launching or participating in DDoS attacks, port scanning, brute forcing or other attempts to compromise networks or systems.
• Running any form of malware, botnets, remote shell backdoors, keyloggers or similar malicious tools.
• Interfering with or disrupting the integrity or performance of our infrastructure or third-party networks.
• Excessive use of resources that negatively impacts other customers (e.g. CPU, RAM, disk, bandwidth abuse) beyond what is reasonably expected for the plan purchased.

2.3 Abuse, Harassment and Misuse

• Using services to harass, threaten, stalk or bully individuals or groups.
• Sending unsolicited bulk messages (spam) by email, in-game messaging, or any other form.
• Using our services to impersonate another person, business or organisation in a misleading or fraudulent manner.

2.4 Security Violations

• Attempting to bypass or defeat security controls on our systems or other users’ services.
• Attempting to access accounts, systems or data that you are not authorised to access.
• Sharing vulnerabilities or exploits publicly before they have been reported to and addressed by the relevant parties.

3. Game Server and VPS-Specific Rules

For game servers and future VPS services, you must not:

• Host servers that are primarily used for cheating, exploiting games, or distributing cheat software.
• Run game modes or modifications that clearly violate the game developer’s EULA or applicable platform rules (e.g. anti-cheat evasion).
• Use your services as a control node for attacks on other game servers or communities.

We reserve the right to determine, in our reasonable discretion, whether any use is abusive or unacceptable.

4. Resource Limits and Fair Use

• You must use resources (CPU, RAM, storage, bandwidth) in line with your plan and any fair use limits we publish.
• We may temporarily throttle, restrict or suspend your services if resource usage impacts other customers or the stability of our infrastructure.

5. Enforcement

If we believe you have breached this AUP, we may, at our discretion and without notice:

• Request that you remove or modify content.
• Apply technical restrictions (rate limits, firewall rules, suspensions).
• Suspend or terminate your services.
• Report suspected illegal activities to law enforcement or other relevant bodies.

Where reasonable, we will attempt to notify you and give you an opportunity to remedy the issue, except where this would risk security, violate law, or cause harm to others.

6. Changes to This AUP

We may update this AUP from time to time. We will indicate the date of the latest revision at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
